Mr. MacNeill is the legal consultant to the firm. Mark has a strong entrepreneurial and corporate background, and brings alternative dispute resolution (ADR) experience, corporate finance, business law, and environmental/natural resource specializations within an impressive and diverse skill set to A.B.C.’s Litigation team. In addition to an M.B.A. from St. Mary’s University, Halifax, N.S. and an M.P.A., Carleton University, Ottawa, ON., he is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh, U.K. School of Law (LL.B.). Mark presently is completing his Licentiate in Law (LL.L.) with U Ottawa Faculty of Civil Law, and an LL.M. with Osgoode Hall Law School, Common Law. Mark worked briefly for the U.S. Department of Energy’s, National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s, Chief Legal Office, where he was in the $600 Million bio-refinery funding program negotiations team. He presently serves as Chief Financial Officer with Nova Scotia based Airesun Global Ltd., a bio-tech corporation. He has also served as a registered consultant lobbyist and advisor with resource groups, indigenous organizations and government entities at the federal, provincial and local levels. He began his career as an accountant with KMPG and has also served as an investment advisor and professional financial planner with BMO Nesbitt Burns. Mr. Macneill is a published legal academic and educator. He has taught corporate finance, strategy, management, governance and business law with the New York Institute of Technology, Champlain College (VT), Southern New Hampshire University, Dalhousie University, St, Mary’s University, Cape Breton University, Royal Military College of Canada, and Nunavut Arctic College.
